Kijabe Sweet Home!!

Well, it's here. Another incredible visit on the Sat of 22nd Oct 2011 to Mama Beth Children Program, Kijabe Kenya. This experience cannot be fully put into words, it was simply indescribable. We experienced true peace for the first time and witnessed true joy like never before. We felt, heard, and saw God clearer than any other moment of this life.... It was INCREDIBLE!

We got to spend time with the children who's joy and faith transformed our lives. We found children waiting for us and greeted us with tremendous expectations. We felt welcomed by exchanging of hugs galore with these awesome kids. We then proceeded to greet Mama Beth, the initiator of Mama Beth Children Program, her first born daughter and other two other amazing women who's heart of service changed our perspective.

We played new games and this time having new teams: China and Messiah. Messiah won in all games but we rewarded both teams equally with candies and biscuits courtesy of Jane Wagathana, Mama Beth Children Program lead. It was all Fun!! We then exchanged dance moves and jokes with kids. Kijabe is the place to be

I (Ken) introduced AWANA Club (derived from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15) which has a mission of raising children and youth to know, love and serve Christ.

I will as well work on sharing specific stories and posting a few pictures every week.., So
